Its 2015, the mobile phone is ubiquitous, and Russia's Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched a Safety Selfie programme. It advises its citizens not to take selfies with wild animals such as bears, in front of approaching trains, whilst using guns, or from the tops of electricity pylons. Stating the obvious? Maybe, but never underestimate human stupidity.

We've all seen phishing emails from banks, but now the Home Office has felt the need to issue an alert after scammers have sent out mails apparently coming from the Ministry Of Justice, or from Revenue and Customs.

The helicopter drone continues to be the cool toy to have with more and more models coming onto the market, from tiny models for indoor operation up to eight-engined monsters capable of carrying large professional cameras. But with no need for a license or training, and seemingly little regulation, are they an accident waiting to happen?
Reviewing the reviews
Research finds that over 50% of us regularly use reviews on websites and find them useful when deciding between products, and 80% of us admit to having changed our mind after reading a review, but research by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and the BBC shows that the integrity of some website reviews leaves a lot to be desired, and the regulator is now making it known it is cracking down on this practice.
