Great Northern Books

Specialising in books about the North of England, especially Yorkshire, this company wanted a site that emulated the personal touch they bring to all their transactions. The site takes the visitor straight to the books from the first click while screen clutter is kept to a minimum.

The principle requirement of the site is the ecommerce function, and we spent a lot of time making sure the shop is simple to use and fast to operate. The site takes credit card and Maestro payments and is fully secured by Thawte certification and hosted on SSL.

An additional role of the website is to bring events and promotions to the attention of the site visitors, and to publicise book signings across the UK.
