The Viewing Facilities Association UK

The Viewing Facilities Association was an established trade organisation which already had a website but wanted a new design with much more impact, stronger branding and better visibility in search engines. Skill Zone was awarded the contract for the rebuild. Initial consultancy identified the aimns and objectives of the organisation as a whole, and the strengths and weaknesses of its existing website and came up with the following design:

The heart of the new site is the directory which lists detailed information on each VFA member. It was designed to be easy to use, easy to find a facility, and easy to read. The raw data is stored in a database and the text and graphs generated dynamically.

We also identified other information which would be useful to the VFA's target audience and built attractive pages to best show off the quality and professionalism of the VFA and its member Viewing Facilities.

In order to allow relaunch to coincide with the annual MRS conference, the whole project from initial consultancy, research, design, construction, database set-up, data entry, and final launch was completed on schedule in just eight weeks.

"Skill Zone have done a tremendous job in designing and implementing our new web site. They have surpassed our expectations with their ideas, design and attention to detail. They have understood our brief and delivered an excellent product which we are very proud of."
