Cheshire Federation of Women's Institutes

A continuing increase in internet interest and usage amongst the 8000 plus members of the Federation prompted the organisation to commission Skill Zone to create a new website that would cater for this growing audience and reflect a more modern image. They also wanted the site to provide a recruitment tool to support the efforts of members in attracting women to the organisation.

We softened the blue palette used by CFWI in their printed materials and added a motif of golden corn as suggested by the county logo. The site incorporates a news feed, diary and list of Institutes which are all content managed by the Federation. The Institutes page provides Google mapping and a contact system, and future developments for this page will include individual pages for each Institute, an upload for the programme of meetings each Institute plans and lots of photo galleries.
