Skill Zone News issue 2
Hello and welcome to the second issue of Skill Zone News. The internet has changed all of our lives, mostly for the better, but sometimes, as with spam, it is intrusive. A topic that crops up in this issue is privacy and the way that, if we are not vigilant, it is eroded by technology, sometimes unintentionally, sometimes as part of a business venture. Fortunately that same technology also makes it easier for us to voice our concerns.

Hackers deface London Police website
Hackers found a way to break into the Metropolitan Police careers website during a weekend in February and defaced the front screen by adding a photo of something resembling a mint-flavoured honey monster.

When you post a photo of yourself on the web, you may be telling people a lot more than you think. Gone are the days when a strip of black tape over the eyes could mask your identity.
