A date for your diary
Readers in the Warrington area are reminded that Sunday 13th July is the date for Disability Awareness Day, the world's largest not-for-profit volunteer-led exhibition held in the grounds of Walton Hall Gardens in Warrington.
Organised by the Warrington Disability Partnership, this year's exhibition will have over 250 exhibitors from all walks of life, all working to the common goal of promoting independence throughout life and work. There will be lots of fun things happening throughout the day, fairground rides for the kids, scuba and wheelchair fencing for the sports lovers, drums, dancing and bands, and an appearance by the Urban Gypsies who you may remember from the finals of Britain's Got Talent. It even has a miniature zoo.
Admission is FREE and the exhibitors will be in a village of tents and marquees, so come along and enjoy yourself whatever the weather.
Naturally there is a no-nonsense highly accessible SKILLZONE website with all the details such as what's on and when, how to find it, where to park, or where to catch the free bus service from Warrington city centre.
