Merseyside Transport Limited
MTL was one of the success stories of the privatisation of the British transport industry, with reported revenues of £500 million per annum as an employee-owned company before becoming a part of Arriva in 2000. With a strong corporate image of red and white, MTL wanted impact on their opening screen together with intuitive navigation. The resulting site was highly effective and had a lot of visual interest, including an unusual image change effect for the menu.
