Sometimes it seems that the smarter computers become, the dumber we act in response. Some of the connectivity-related news this month makes me wonder if we are becoming too interconnected.

When you chose your pin code, did you choose one you could remember easily, or one that you thought no-one else could guess?
Are we too connected?
If you sometimes need to get up in the middle of the night to have a cigarette then a doctor would classify you as addicted. So does the same apply if you get up in the middle of the night to check your email or your phone for new messages?
Failing via Facebook
The juror who admitted using Facebook to contact a defendant during an Old Bailey multi-million pound drugs trial, causing the trial to collapse, has been sentenced to eight months in prison.
If you want to sing out, sing out
US politician, Anthony Wiener, wrecked his marriage and ruined his career this month when he made the rookie mistake of thinking he was sending a private message on Twitter, and instead sent out public tweet containing a "lewd" photo of himself. He's not the only one to fall into that trap.
You can't take it with you
Google brought us QR codes, those rectangular bar codes that you can point your mobile at and load up the web page linked to that code. They envisaged it being used in magazine adverts and in shop windows. But the ingenuity of man knows no bounds.
